I took that for about a month. I felt ANGRY all the time, my temper was really short and I had absolutely no patience. Maybe I should have stuck it out, but instead a friend is LOVING Effexor, so I switch, with overlap to: 75mg EFFEXOR SR--no real results. 150mg EFFEXOR SR--this does the trick. For about 7 months. I feel good, but I've gained even more weight, despite working out tons (though not in the past two months because I feel so lethargic and tired all the time), my blood sugar drops very easily still. The doctors say nothing is wrong with me. My metabolism has changed completely (though it started mid-Celexa, so I don't know what the deal is)--I never used to have to watch what I ate or exercise much. Now no matter how much I exercise or how healthy I eat (complex carbs, lots of protein, low bad fats but good amount of good fats, no processed foods, not too much sugar, brown rice instead of white rice, spinach instead of lettuce, etc.), I can't lose weight. I REALLY notice right away if i miss a dose of Effexor, feel bad almost immediately. With the Zoloft, it would take two or three days to start feeling bad again. My doctor says it is because the half life of Effexor is shorter (time it takes to leave your system). My general doctor suggested the weight gain and fa wellbutrin zoloft
